BASELINE STUDY/END LINE OF MULTISTRATA AGROFORESTRY AND PLAN/PROGRAM/ACTIVITY OF EXISTING FORESTS MANAGEMENT FROM BATUTEGI AND AGUNG UTARA CITY, WEST COAST AND LIWA, FORESTRY AGENCY OF LAMPUNG PROVINCE

Scope of Work:

  • Develop Forest Reference Levels for KPHL Batutegi and Agung Utara City, Pesisir Barat and Liwa in the context of implementation of the deforestation and forest degradation prevention activities, forest conservation, and enhancing forest carbon stocks to improve watershed environmental services; including supporting a coffee agroforestry baseline economic survey;
  • Reviewing documents of RPHJP KPHL Batutegi dan KPHL  Agung Utara City in relation to the framework of implementation of the deforestation and forest degradation prevention activities, forest conservation, and enhancing forest carbon stocks to improve watershed environmental services;
  • Synchronize forest management plans/programs/activities from KPHL Batutegi dan KPHL  Agung Utara City by considering the policy/programs of TNBBS , Forestry Agency, RPJMD of Lampung Province related to REDD+, especially those that have the potential to reduce emissions and increase greenhouse gas uptake and contribute to reduce erosion and sedimentation of Way Sekampung Watershed;
  • Support Ruko in the development of social forestry plans/programs to contribute to reducing emissions and increasing greenhouse gas uptake and improving environmental services in Way Sekampung watershed into the Climate Village program;
  • Facilitating the registration process of climate village activities in KPHL Batutegi and Agung Utara City regions in the MOEFI SRN (National Registration System)
  • Develop the guidelines for a system of monitoring and evaluating social forestry activities as a Climate Village program that contributes to reduce the emissions and increasing adaptation to climate change
  • Strengthening the ability of the KPHL Batutegi, KPHL Agung Utara City, KPHL Pesisit Barang and the community implementing the Social Forestry program to monitor and evaluate the Village Climate program and measure its impact on reducing emissions and increasing the GHG.
