MAPPING AND ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL FORESTRY INITIATIVES IN THE FRAMEWORK OF NDC TARGET ACHIEVEMENTS

Scope of Work:

1. Selection of provinces and locations of social forestry (PS) for conducting studies that have the potential to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation

2. Analysis of potential natural forest carbon stocks in selected provinces of social forestry

3. Historical analysis of changes in natural forest cover to establish provincial reference emission levels and identify the main drivers of deforestation and forest degradation in social forestry areas

4. Identify the role of social forestry in reducing pressure on natural forests

5. Contribution of social forestry analysis in reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation
